Louis Tamis & Sons

Beautiful things are what dreams are made of, and Louis Tamis has been making them for more than a century. Founded in New York in 1909 by Russian-born jeweler Louis Tamis, the company became the country's premier manufacturer of gold boxes and objets d'art. In the late '30s, Tamis met Paul Flato, a retailer with a keen eye for design, and their association produced money clips, pens and cufflinks. The business continued to flourish. Louis' sons, took over the company in 1948 and the company became one of the top high-end jewelry manufacturers in America. Today, the 4th generation of the Tamis family continues to make special order requests for over 500 clients, retailers and renowned designers.
